About

Hi! I'm Sowmya, a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science Engineering based in Bengaluru. I enjoy helping children learn with confidence by making difficult concepts easier to understand. I offer online, one-to-one Maths and English tuition for Classes 4–6 currently. My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorisation. I use simple explanations, relatable examples, step-by-step guidance, stories and practice exercises to make learning engaging. In Maths, I help students understand concepts and solve problems step by step. In English, I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence formation and writing skills. I can also help with schoolwork, homework and revision. I have supported younger students through informal tutoring and volunteered in an NGO-led educational programme at a government school. I aim to create a patient, encouraging environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. I can communicate in English, Telugu and Hindi. My goal is to help students build strong foundations, gain confidence and become independent learners.
