About Mentr by Paprly
Parents find teachers. Faculty get found. Free.
Finding a good tutor usually means paying a platform — parents pay to unlock contacts, tutors pay for leads that never reply. Mentr by Paprly removes that toll booth. We verify tutors, let parents search locally or online worldwide, and connect the two sides directly on WhatsApp. Our platform fee is ₹0, forever.
Who it is for: parents, guardians, adult students, and tutors (18+). Optional children's learning products are parent-enrolled and supervised. Operated by Paprly, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Mentr is built by Paprly, the team behind simple, free business tools for founders and growing teams. Post a requirement and tutors pitch you, or search the directory and book a demo yourself. Either way, numbers stay private until you accept — then you arrange everything directly.
What Mentr does
Mentr is a tutor–parent connector, not a tuition agency. We do not employ tutors, set session fees, or take a cut from classes. Parents and students use Mentr to discover verified tutors by subject and area, book demos, or post learning requirements where tutors pitch interest. Faculty use Mentr to list profiles, manage availability, and respond to requests — all without buying lead credits.
- →Search tutors nearby or online from India, UAE, and worldwide
- →Free classroom and study tools (timetables, PDFs, calculators)
- →Long-form guides on hiring tutors, exam prep, and platform comparisons
- →Connect on WhatsApp only after both sides accept — privacy by default
How tutor verification works
Before a faculty profile goes live, we verify phone and identity (Phase 1 is manual review). Live listings show a Verified badge. Verification reduces fake or anonymous spam accounts; it does not certify teaching skill, board results, or background checks beyond what we state on the profile. Parents should still review subjects, experience, and fit before hiring.
Booking a demo shares your number with that tutor so they can confirm the time. On the requirements board, your name stays hidden until you accept a pitch. Listing and contact stay free.
How Mentr stays free
Core marketplace features — search, profiles, demo bookings, and the requirements flow — are free for parents and faculty. Public marketing and guide pages aimed at parents and tutors may show Google AdSense ads; logged-in dashboards and Mentr Learn (/learn) do not. Optional profile boosts may be offered later for visibility, but contact itself stays free.
Beyond the marketplace, Mentr publishes free education tools and educational guides, plus Mentr Learn for Class 3–5 coding and AI literacy. Those products exist to help families and teachers even if they never hire through the directory.

Free means free
No coins, no lead packs, no commission on fees. Tutors keep 100% of what they earn, and parents never pay to see a profile or book a demo.
Privacy before contact
A demo shares your number with the tutor you chose, so they can confirm the time. On the requirements board, your name stays hidden until you accept a pitch.
Built for the world
Connect in-person when you're nearby or online from any country. Availability converts to each person's time zone automatically.
You two arrange the rest
Timing, fees, and location are between the parent and the tutor. Mentr connects you and then gets out of the way.
Guides & transparency
We publish dozens of free guides for parents, students, and tutors — fee benchmarks, exam timelines, safety checklists, and honest platform comparisons. Read our editorial policy to see how we research, update, and correct content. Public parent/tutor pages may show Google AdSense ads; Learn and logged-in dashboards do not. Read our safety page for verification and reporting.
