Hello! I’m Sushim, a FIDE-rated chess player and chess coach with around 6 years of tournament experience. I currently have a FIDE rating of 1686 and a Lichess rating of 2100+. I have also achieved 2nd place at the district level and have participated in state-level FIDE-rated tournaments. I have experience coaching beginners and intermediate players and advance level players, including children, through both chess academies and one-to-one online lessons. My aim is not just to teach moves, but to help students understand why a move works and develop better thinking habits over the board.
