I'm a political science lecturer with close to 10 years of teaching experience, currently teaching at the college level in Kolkata, and TEFL-certified. What I teach: Political Science, Civics/Social Studies, and History — from school students preparing for board exams to college students studying Political Science and International Relations in depth. How I teach: I connect concepts to real events instead of teaching them as abstract definitions to memorize. I use comparisons, timelines, and examples to build clarity, and adjust pace to each student — more repetition for some, more challenge for others. For exam-focused students, I also work on answer structuring, essay writing, and time management. Results: I've helped students move from struggling with dense concepts to writing structured, well-argued exam answers, with noticeable improvement in board and university scores, especially in essay-based papers. I've also worked with slower learners to build genuine understanding over rote memorization, improving their confidence and retention.
