ChatGPT vs CBSE Marking Scheme: Why Uploading a PDF Is Not Enough

Students now photograph a question, paste it into ChatGPT, and ask “how many marks?” That can explain a method. It is a weak substitute for a CBSE marking scheme. ChatGPT guesses steps from whatever PDF you uploaded — or from no PDF at all. A board key is a split: this mark for the formula, this mark for the reason, this mark for the unit. What ChatGPT is good at — and where it slips

Generic AI is useful for a second explanation of a concept. It is not a substitute for the examiner’s split. If you do not attach a marking scheme, the model invents a reasonable-looking paragraph. Can ChatGPT mark like CBSE if I upload the scheme?
